WE BELIEVE
In the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments in their original writings as fully inspired by God and accept them as the supreme and final authority for faith and life.
In our God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man.
That God created man in His own image; that man sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of death, physical and spiritual; that all human beings inherit a sinful nature which issues (in the case of those who reach moral responsibilities) in actual transgression involving personal guilt.
That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, a substitutionary sacrifice, according to the Scriptures and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
In the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, His Ascension into heaven and His present life as our High Priest and Advocate.
In the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
That all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
In the resurrection both of the just and the unjust, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed and the eternal banishment of those who have rejected the offer of salvation.
That the one true Church is the whole company of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy spirit; that the local church on earth should take its character from this conception of the Church spiritually and therefore that the new birth and personal confession of Christ are essentials of Church membership.
That the Lord Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances ‘Baptism’ and the ‘Lord’s Supper’ to be observed as acts of obedience and as perpetual witnesses to the cardinal facts of the Christian faith; that Baptism is immersion of the believer in water as a confession of and identification with Christ in burial and resurrection and that the Lord’s Supper is the partaking of bread and wine as symbolic of the Saviour’s broken body and shed blood in remembrance of His sacrificial death.

Salem Kids
SALEM Kids is a nurturing and fun environment for children (3 -12) and is presented during the morning service. Our heart is to come alongside families to raise up sons and daughters who grow in the love and knowledge of God. We want our children to encounter the love of Jesus, be empowered to grow confidently in who God created them to be, and know that they can make a profound impact on the world around them.

SMALL GROUP RESOURCES
FAQ's
What exactly is a Small Group?
Small Groups create a space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. A Small Group Leader determines how often their group meets and what the focus of the group is. Small Groups gather in homes, coffee shops, and other places where people love to connect—including online.
How do I join a Small Group?
Here are some easy ways to get connected: Visit our info desk at Salem Church and talk to the staff or volunteers there. If you attend Salem Church Online, you can talk to us through our WhatsApp Channel. You can also Find a Small Group near you or one that meets digitally using our website.
What do you actually do in a Small Group?
Every Small Group is unique. Some discuss the weekend message or content from our podcast, some complete Bible Plans in the YouVersion Bible App together, some serve together in the community, and some have a social once a month. Two things you’ll find in every Small Group, though, are relationships and conversations that help people grow in their faith.
Where can I find more information?

Prayer is in the heart of SALEM. We believe that our first and supreme ministry is to minister to the Lord and partner with Him in the place of prayer. We believe that God hears, answers, and actively partners with His people to advance His Kingdom through the power and profound humility of asking, seeking, and knocking. The prayer room consists of live worship and prayer sets with various focuses in the Word and intercession on Monday's at 19:00.
