SALEM academy is a school for children aged 6 months-grade RR. Every day in our early childhood development classes we start the day with a time of worship, prayer and scripture. Our hands-on curriculum includes alphabet and numbers introduction for our little ones, along with colors, shapes and life skills. We follow the CAPS learning standards, which includes instruction in Language, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art and Music.

Our Philosophy 

We are a school committed to beginning each day in the Presence of The Lord, putting Him first and hosting Him throughout our academic day. We believe that when we operate in the fullness of God, we will see excellence in strong work ethic, integrity, confidence and humility.

Our primary purpose is for staff to train and equip students to learn their identity in Christ, walk in the fullness of who they were created to be, and gain confidence spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. Our staff fosters an environment to protect the wonder and exploration that is innate in childhood, giving students the opportunity to problem-solve, both in the classroom and in real-world situations.  We uphold a high value of education and pass on the love of learning to each student by promoting ownership, responsibility, and independence in their learning. We believe that Jesus is our example and the Holy Spirit is our teacher bringing guidance, counsel, wisdom, and revelation in both academic and spiritual growth.
